Can we help to raise funds
for your own good cause?

Over the past 25 years, the Newcastle Male Chorus has helped to raise many thousands of pounds for charitable organisations in this country and abroad.

Throughout the year, the chorus performs concerts in venues large and small, Churches, Village Halls, shopping centres and professional concert venues with many hundreds of seats.

What does it cost?

Our fees are very modest and are negotiated on a case by case basis by our staff. The determining factors are the size and type of venue and the purpose of the concert. We are pleased to provide quotations upon request.

What are our requirements?

The only essential requirement is that the venue has a well tuned piano although if this is not possible, we can provide our own piano for a small extra transportation charge. A cup of tea or a soft drink is always welcomed during the concert interval. We provide all the staging for the choristers where required. One of our friendly staff will visit the proposed venue prior to the concert date being confirmed to verify access and suitability.

What do you need to do?

You are responsible for the organisation of the concert, i.e. obtaining the venue, the publicity, printing and sale of the tickets and concert programmes. We may be able to offer our expertise and assistance with the publicity and sale of tickets (eg.via this site) but we do not directly organise concerts to raise money for any organisation except our own.

Can you help me with publicity materials?

We can provide you with a variety of choir photographs, logos, draft posters and programme designs to assist you in promoting your concert. Please email our for details of available materials.

What do I do next?

If you wish to discuss engaging the chorus to sing for a concert you are planning or just considering, please contact either our Musical Director or Secretary in the first instance for further help and information.

Please note, we are usually booking concert dates a year or two in advance. So... if you would like us to sing for you, the sooner you contact us, the better the chance of securing your preferred date.
